【 摘 要 】

Lower-MiddleDevonianconodonts(serotinus-kockelianuszones)fromtheTřebotovLimestone(Daleje-TřebotovFormation)andChotečLimestone(ChotečFormation)werestudied.ThefollowingsectionsinthePragueBasinweresampledinanattempttorefinetheconodontbiostratigraphyofthissequence:Barrandovroadcut,PrastavquarryatHolyně,JelínekmillquarryatChýniceandČervenýquarrynearSuchomasty.Anotheraimwastocollectnewdatafromsectionswhichhavenotbeensampledbefore:NaŠkrábkuquarryatChoteč,UNěmcůsectionatKarlštejnandNavyhlídcesectionatHostím.Themainfocuswasonclarifyingrangesofindividualconodonttaxaandthusenablingmoreprecisecorrelationstobemade.AmongthemostimportantfindingsistheloweroccurrenceofPolygnathuscostatuspartitusKlapper,ZieglerMashkova(thedefiningspeciesfortheLower-MiddleDevonianboundary),recordedinitsregionalreferencesection(Prastavquarry)but2.2mbelowthepreviousboundary.ThecorrelationbetweentheonsetoftheBasalChotečevent,aswellastheoccurrenceofPolygnathussp.aff.Polygnathustrigonicus,withthebaseofthecostatusZoneissupportedbytheresultsofthisstudy.
