ThepresentarticlerecommendstheemendationofthespeciesCalamostachysincrassata,proposedbyNÄ›mejc(1953),whichwasbasedononespecimenfromtheRakoMinenearLubnáintheKladno-RakovnÃkBasin.ThestratigraphicalpositionofthespecimenistheLowerBolsovian.TheinnermorphologyofCalamostachysincrassataanditsinsitusporesaredescribedforthefirsttime.ThemorphologyofCalamostachysincrassataconesdiffersfromthatofallotherknownspeciesofcalamiteanstrobili.Mostinsitumicrosporespossessaverythinpseudosaccus-likelayerthatenvelopesthetrileteinnerbodyoftheCalamospora-type.MicrosporeswithanouterexinelayeraremorphologicallysimilartosomedispersedmiosporespeciesofthegeneraAuroraspora,Remysporites,Callialasporites,Perotrilites,PhyllothecotriletesandDiaphanospora.
