【 摘 要 】

ThelocalityofKüçükçekmecehasyieldedauniquecarnivoranfaunarepresentingoneoftherarefossilassemblagescomprisingbothmarineandterrestrialspecies.Thestudiedsamplecomprisesthirty-fourspecimensbelongingtothreedifferentcollectionsattheTechnicalUniversityofIstanbul(ITU),GeologyMuseumoftheIstanbulUniversity(IU)andattheNationalMuseumofNaturalHistoryofParis.Thislownumberoffossilremainscontrastswiththerelativelygreattaxonomicrichnessofthefauna,sincesixfamiliesandatleastninespeciesareidentified:theursidIndarctosarctoides(Depéret,1895),themustelidSivaonyxhessicus(Lydekker,1884),thephocidsCryptophocasp.andPhocidaegen.etsp.indet.,thepercrocutidDinocrocutasenyureki(Ozansoy,1957),thehyaenidcf.Thalassictissp.,thefelidsMachairodusaphanistus(Kaup,1832),Pristifelissp.cf.P.attica(Wagner,1857)andFelidaegen.etsp.indet.mediumsize.Atenthspecies,asmallmustelididentifiedasMustelapenteliciGaudry,1861byMalikamp;Nafiz(1933),wasprobablypresent.However,thefigured(andonly?)specimenwasdestroyedduringthe1942fireatIstanbulUniversity.Mostofthespeciesaredocumentedbyoneorafewspecimens,whilethephocidmaterialisthemostabundantandrepresentsmorethanhalfofthedescribedfossils,withmanypostcranialremains.ThelistofCarnivoraofKüçükçekmecesuggestsalateMioceneageforthefaunaofthissite.
