AbryozoanfaunafromtheMississippian(Visean)ofRoqueRedonde(MontagneNoire,southernFrance),contains38species(12cystoporates,2trepostomes,6cryptostomes[rhabdomesines],and18fenestrates).Ofthem9arenew:Fistuliporatolokonnikovaen.sp.,Dybowskiellarotundan.sp.,Dybowskiellapiriformen.sp.,Eridoporasuarezin.sp.,Volgiadefteran.sp.,Cystodictyagallensisn.sp.,Megacanthoporaenodatan.sp.,Fabifenestellamacrofenestratan.sp.,andBaculoporaredondensisn.sp.Besidethem,onenewgenuswithanewspeciesisestablished:Gorjunoporagallican.gen.,n.sp.Furthermore,23speciescharacteristicoftheMississippianofEurasiaandNorthAmericawereidentified.Thebryozoanspeciesshowvariouspalaeobiogeographicconnections.TheclosestconnectionsaretotheMississippian(Visean)oftheBritishIslesandtheRussianPlatform.Moreover,someconnectionstotheMississippianofGermany,Ukraine,Spain,KuznetsBasin,NorthAmericaandKazakhstancanbetraced.Thestudiedbryozoanassemblageisrepresentedmainlybydelicategrowthformsandsuggestsacalmwaterenvironment.
