【 摘 要 】
TheLateCretaceousscleractinianfamilyHemiporitidae(suborderFaviina)isrevised.Thefamilyischaracterizedbyhavinglargetrabeculae,compactandstrongseptawithpoorornamentationattheirlateralfaces,shortandnon-confluentcostae,astronglamellarcolumella,aseptothecalwall,andanendothecamadeofthicktabulae.Togetherwiththename-givinggenusHemiporitesAlloiteau,1952,thetwocoralgeneraCerionefocoeniaReigOriol,1995andPachynefocoeniaReigOriol,1989fromtheLateCretaceousofSpainareassignedtothefamily.Allgeneraarerevisedonthebasisofthetypesoftheirrespectivetypespecies.FurthergeneraformerlyorcurrentlyassignedtotheHemiporitidaefamilyarediscussed.ThefamilyoccursfromtheTuroniantoMaastrichtian.
