WepresentthefirstexplicitexamplesofarationalthreefoldandaCalabi-Yauthreefold,admittingbiregularautomorphismsofpositiveentropynotpreservinganydominantrationalmapstolowerpositivedimensionalvarieties.TheseexamplesarealsothefirstwhosedynamicaldegreesarenotSalemnumbers.Crucialpartsaretherationalityofthequotientthreefoldofacertain$3$-dimensionaltorusofproducttypeandanumericalcriterionofprimitivityofbirationalautomorphismsintermsofdynamicaldegrees.
