WeconductedVLBIexperimentsonthepulsarPSR0329+54withtheKashima(Japan)-Kalyazin(Russia)baselinein1995Marchand1996May.AnabsoluteastrometricmeasurementwasappliedbyusingtheanalysissoftwareSOLVEandCALC,whichweredevelopedbyNASA/GSFCforgeodesyandastrometry.OurmeasurementresultsareconsistentwiththeformerresultsofaVLBIobservationbyBarteletal.(1985,AAA39.041.005)andaVLAobservationbyFomalontetal.(1984,AAA38.041.014)whenpropermotion(Harrisonetal.1993,AAA57.126.049)istakenintoaccount.ByusingourdatasetandBarteletal.'sdata,themostprecisepropermotionandpulsarpositioninICRFwereobtained.Thepropermotionasμα:17.3±0.8masyr−1,μδ:–11.5±0.6masyr−1andthecoordinatesattheepochof1995.0areα:03h32m59.s376±0.001,andδ:54°34′43.″504±0.007.
