【 摘 要 】

Neuronalmigrationisrequiredfortheestablishmentofspecificneuralstructures,suchaslayersandnuclei.Neuronsmigratealongspecificmigratoryroutestowardtheirfinaldestinations,sometimesacrosslongdistances.However,thecellularandmolecularinteractionsthatcontrolneuronalmigrationarelargelyunknown.Here,weexaminedthemechanismunderlyingthetransmedianmigrationofprecerebellarneuronsusingaflatwhole-mountpreparationoftheratembryo.Theseneuronswereinitiallyattractedbythefloorplate(FP)attheventralmidline.However,aftercrossingthemidline,theylosttheirresponsivenesstotheFPandbecameattractedbythealarplate(AP).AlthoughthelossofresponsivenesstoFPcueswascausedbyanencounterofmigratingcellswiththeFP,thegainofresponsivenesstoAPcuesoccurredirrespectiveoftheirencounterwiththeFP.Theseresultsidentifyacrucialchangeintheresponseofmigratingcellstoattractiveguidancecuesduringthetransmedianmigrationofprecerebellarneurons.
