References(17)Cited-By(2)This paper deals with the improvement experimental evaluation of bilinear model predictive control applied to the pH neutralization process. A bilinear model for the pH neutralization process is developed, and a one-step-ahead predictive control law based on the bilinear model is designed without inclusion of an offset compensator. The performance of the proposed control system was studied both numerically and experimentally. The good control performance obtained verifies the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive bilinear model predictive control method in the control of nonlinear chemical processes.
