【 摘 要 】

A numerical study of two dimensional convection diffusion problem for incompressible viscous flows inside a porous cavity is presented. The flow is governed by the two factors: (1) a viscous electrically driven convective flow due to magnetic field, and (2) partially thermally activated side walls. Extensive numerical results of the flow field governed by the Navier-Stokes equations are obtained over a wide range of physical parameters like Grashof number, Hartmann number and the Darcy number. The preceding numerical results obtained has a good agreement with the available numerical results and the experimental observations. The present paper describes the flow characteristics both for high convection and diffusive forces created due to magnetic convection and temperature.
