【 摘 要 】
Suppose that 𛼠> 1 is an algebraic number and $𜉠> 0$ is a real number. We prove that the sequence of fractional parts ${ðœ‰ð›¼^n},n=1,2,3,ldots,$ has infinitely many limit points except when 𛼠is a PV-number and $ðœ‰inmathbb{Q}(ð›¼)$. For ðœ‰=1 and 𛼠being a rational non-integer number, this result was proved by Vijayaraghavan.
