【 摘 要 】

The chiral constituent quark model (𝜒 CQM) with general parametrization (GP) method has been formulated to calculate the quadrupole moments of the spin $-dfrac{3}{2}^{+}$ decuplet baryons and spin $-dfrac{3}{2}^{+} → dfrac{1}{2}^{+}$ transitions. The implications of such a model have been investigated in detail for the effects of symmetry breaking and GP parameters pertaining to the two- and three-quark contributions. It is found that the 𝜒CQM is successful in giving a quantitative and qualitative description of the quadrupole moments.
