【 摘 要 】

As in most countries in the area, migration in United Arab Emirates is based on an employment contract binding a worker to his sponsor (kafîl), the latter being responsible for the former. However, if the salary of the worker is enough, he is entitled to bring his family over and, in this case,he becomes the sponsor of his wife and children.This research concerns the displayed strategies (in terms of migratory movement and acquisition of nationality) and the mobilized resources (feminine solidarity, supporting the transnational family, educational complement) by qualified women migrants native of Arab countries in order to ensure their own future and that of their children. Having arrived at a young age in a country which they did not choose, those who stayed on play today a central part in family dynamics in migration.
