【 摘 要 】

The modal spectrum of thewhispering gallery modes of dielectric resonator depends mainly on itsphysical dimensions, dielectric constant, and to a lesser extent, on theenvironment. This paper carries investigation of the resonantfrequencies in dielectric disc utilising the ring resonator model.Results of the structural design parameters are used to generate anume!ical expression for describing the operational frequencies usefulfor computer-aided design applications. Theoretical and experimentalresults are given for resonators of various sizes.
