【 摘 要 】

The influence of a polyethylene greenhouse in plant growth and development of sweet pepper, cv. Cascadura Ikeda, was determined. Dates of sowing were September 5, in normal summer growth condition, and in April 19, May 4 and July 26, in winter greenhouse condition. The parameters of root, stem, leaf and fruit dry matter and number of leaf and fruits were evaluated in intervals of 14 days, during part of the plant cicle period. Daily meteorological data of maximum and minimum air temperatures, soil temperature (10cm depth) and air relative humidity were registered. The results showed in greenhouse conditions at growth of plant aerial organs and fruit number were higher. Plant vegetative cycle was longer in the coldest winter months.
