【 摘 要 】

This paper has the purpose of analyzing methods, techniques and guidelines for the design, operation and maintenance ofpoka-yokesystems. In parallel it intends to contribute with concepts about whatpoka-yokeare and their classification. Therefore a literature review was made about systemspoka-yokeconcepts,poka-yokesystems classification, kinds of inspections, kinds of mistakes, the relationship between stability and statistical process control with mistake proofing systems, techniques and directions to design and managepoka-yoke . An analysis was carried out with each subject relatingpoka-yokewith the subject. At the end the absence of apoka-yokemanagement system was evident, because techniques for design, operation and maintenance aren’t consistent.
