【 摘 要 】

Librarians from the 12 selected academic libraries were included in the study of the publishing productivity and the presence of those accomplishments on the web. We identified a group of 214 authors with more than 1,000 publications on the basis of bibliographic lists, staff performance records and reports. An analysis was made of the individual items in institutional repositories, then we examined the ways of disseminating articles in alternative repositories (E-LIS) and creating user profiles in at least such services like Google Scholar or in the most popular social networking sites for researchers (Researchgate, Academia.edu). We found that it’s possibile to access librarians�? publications on the web. Mostly these publications are written by librarians who had reached the position of certified librarian, and the information about personal accomplishments is disseminated in institutional information channels (databases, bibliographic lists, rarely repositories). Only about 10% of authors has started to see the possibilities offered by other dissemination channels of their own research, including scientific networking.
