【 摘 要 】
Processing of Al7075 matrix composites reinforced with content (1.0 wt.%) of graphene and SiC nanoparticles (0.25-2.0 wt.%) using ball milling and vacuum hot press is reported. Near full densification was observed for all the composite compositions at the sinteringtemperature of 61 0 °C (time of 1.5 h and applied pressure of 50 MPa). Detailed analysis ofthe microstructure and mechanical and tribological properties with reinforcement contentin Al7075-graphene-SiCpcompos ites is presented. The results show that the graphene andSiC nanoparticles predominantly are homogeneously distributed on the grain boundariesof Al matrix and SiC nanoparticles are distributed between graphene sheets. There is asignificant increase in t he hardness and wear resistance and a reduction in the coefficientof friction values compared to pure Al7075 alloy.
