【 摘 要 】

This study analyzes how the Off-Balance Sheet (OBS) activities affect the performance of National Private Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). OBS activities are proxied by derivatives, while banks’ performance is proxied by profitability measured by Return On Equity (ROE). The sampling method used in this research is non-probability purposive sampling, with a total number of 11 samples. We use panel data regression with a random effect model as the method of this research. The result shows that OBS activities have a  negative impact on ROE.
