【 摘 要 】
This study analyzes the impact of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Chile and Peru of the agreement on agricultural products between the period 2003-2013. In this agreement are presented the annual agricultural exports from Chile to Peru and from agricultural imports from Peru. From this commercial trade, collected values and tons shipped annually from each country are compared, trade balance is analyzed and agricultural products of greater economic importance are identified during the study period. Seven species: oats, peaches, barley malt, apple, raisins brown, pear and wine represent 75% of total Chilean exports to Peru, while eight species: olives, cocoa, coffee, cochineal carmine, asparagus, mango, oregano and snuff represent over 65% of total imports from Peru. Both countries are increasingly benefiting from the FTA in agriculture, due to they have increase of raised millions of dollars and tons of agricultural products sent to both Chile and Peru. At the same time, the higher dollar amount collected and the amount of agricultural products sold annually before and after entering into force of the FTA, favors Chile.
