Duringthedevelopmentofimmuneresponsestopathogens,self‐antigens,orenvironmentalallergens,naiveCD4+TcellsdifferentiateintosubsetsofeffectorcellsincludingTh1,Th2,andTh17cells.Thedifferentiationintothesesubsetsiscontrolledbyspecifictranscriptionfactors.TheactivityoftheseeffectorcellsislimitedbynTregsandiTregs,whosedifferentiationandmaintenancearedependentonthetranscriptionfactorFoxp3.TheregulationofautoimmunediseasesmediatedbyTh1andTh17cellsbyTregshasbeenstudiedandreviewedextensively.However,muchlesshasbeenpresentedabouttheinterplaybetweenTregsandTh2cellsandtheircontributiontoallergicdisease.Inthisperspective,wediscusstheregulationofTh2cellsbyTregsandviceversa,focusingontheinterplaybetweentheIL‐4‐activatedSTAT6/GATA3pathwayandFoxp3...
