【 摘 要 】
Developing a material with a new morphology is very important for improving the functional performance and finding new applications. Monoclinic samarium oxysulfate (Sm2O2SO4) nanoplates were first prepared using a hydrothermal process followed by a postâannealing treatment of an asâsynthesized Sm2(OH)4SO4·2H2O plate at 450 °C. The fundamental physicochemical properties were examined by scanning electron microscopy, highâresolution transmission electron microscopy, Rietveld Xâray diffraction crystallographic data analysis, thermogravimetric analysis/differential scanning calorimetry, Fourier transformâinfrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, ultravioletâvisibleâNIR absorption, and Xâray photoelectron spectroscopy.
