【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of quality control cycle(QCC)activity in quality improvement of nursing shift in endocrinology department.Methods To set up the “Beidou” QCC group and to investigate the status of nursing shift by using self-made check table. The potential reasons affecting the quality of nursing shift and defects were analyzed, and related improvement approach was provided.Results The qualified rate of nursing shift was improved from 65.59% before implementation of QCC activities to 90.32% six months after implementation of activity, with goal achievement rate of 118.27% and progress rate of 37.70%. The satisfaction of nurses to nursing shift was improved after QCC activities compared with that before QCC activities(P<0.05). The responsibility, communication skills, self-confidence, team cohesion, enthusiasm, quality management technique, harmonious degree and the ability to solve the problem have been improved to a certain extent in all QCC members.Conclusion Application of the QCC activity can improve the quality of nursing shift and improve satisfaction of nurses and ensure the quality of nursing service.
