【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the status quo and potential influential factors of needlestick injuries among nurses in pediatrics emergency department, and to explore protective measures. Methods 〓A questionnaire survey was conducted to pediatrics emergency nurses who experienced needlestick injuries between June, 2016 to June 2017. Results 〓There were 54 nurses(61.36%)with the experience of needlestick injuries. The incidence of needlestick injuries in nurses with working age less than 2 years was 64.29 %( 27/42), and was 78.98%(15/19)in those with working age for 2-5 years. The majority of needlestick injuries occurred at the time of withdraw of the needle, accounting for 37.03 %( 20/54). The second and third most frequent occurrence was at the time of aspirating drugs(22.22%)and at the time of unarmed syringe and needle(20.37%). Conclusion 〓There are many reasons for needlestick injuries among nurses in pediatrics emergency department. It is supposed to strengthen awareness of the protection, improve the environment, use safe materials and carry out standardized operations, in order to ensure the occupational safety.
