【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To analyze the potential cause of accidental needlestick injuries and to provide preventive measures. Methods 〓To investigate the accidental needlestick injuries between August 2016 and August 2017. Results 〓Totally 150 cases of accidental needle stick injuries among 48 nurses were reported, and 60 cases of injury were caused by improper handling with injector. Only 12 nurses had reported the injury according to the procedure. Conclusion 〓Nurses are exposed to the hazard of accidental needlestick injuries, which may explained by poor awareness of self-protection and standard operating procedure. It is required to provide the training and enhance the self-protection consciousness of nurses.
