【 摘 要 】

In the present paper, we study the local convergence analysis of a Steffensen-like method considered also in Amat et al. [1] modified suitably to solve equations in the Banach space. Using our idea of restricted convergence domains we extend the applicability of this method.Numericalexampleswhereearlierresultscannotapplytosolveequationsbutourresults canapplyarealsogiveninthisstudy.
