【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the awareness of pain management and related clinical skills among orthopedic nurses, in order to provide reference for pain control in the orthopedic clinic. Methods 〓Totally 66 orthopedic nurses from a second-level hospital in Hongkou Shanghai were included in this study. The questionnaire of Knowledge and Attitudes Survey Regarding Pain(KASRP)and self-rating scale on knowledge of pain control were used to investigate the awareness of pain management and related clinical skills among orthopedic nurses. Results 〓The correct rate of KASRP was(42.79±5.44)% among 66 nurses. According to self-rating scale, 77.27% of nurses did not know much about the knowledge of pain control, 56.06% of nurses acquired the knowledge of pain control by clinical practice, and 10.61% of nurses took part in the training in the last three years. Conclusion 〓Findings of the investigation showed a poor level awareness of pain management among orthopedic nurses. Multiple types of training on pain management should be provided to orthopedic nurses, so as to encourage their participation in pain management.
