【 摘 要 】
Antibacterial activity of methanol and ethyl acetate extracts of twoPhellinusspecies were studied. The activity was evaluated by well assay method and microtiter plate dilution method using sixteen strains ofAcinetobacter baumanniiBouvet and Grimont. The ethyl acetate extract ofPhellinusswieteniae(Murr.) Herrera and Bondart. showed activity against all strains ofAcinetobacter. The minimum inhibitory concentration of ethyl acetate extract ofPhellinus merrillii (Murr.) Ryv. was found to be in the range 0.71 - 1.42 mg/ml. The MIC value of methanol extract of both species was found to be much higher.
