【 摘 要 】

We introduce an order in a quotient space of strictly monotone continuous functions on a real interval and show that a new average function on this quotient space is order-preserving. We also apply this new order-preserving function to derive a finite form of Jensen type inequality with negative weights. MSC:39B62, 26B25, 26A51.
