【 摘 要 】

This study aims at providing information on the factors that must be considered in building a house in accordance with the climate of Indonesia. The research method used related studies and supporting theories about buildings in tropical climates and interviewed the lecturer who teaches building physics in one of the private universities in Bandung. The results obtained from this research were the creation of a healthy and comfortable house that adapted to the equatorial tropical climate in Indonesia. Considering thermal comfort factors such as wind direction, indoor air temperature, humidity influenced by climate in Indonesia, radiation temperatures entering the house and human physique that will stay in the house and the factors of the creation of a healthy house with attention to the comfort of humans live and indulge in it by applying the concept of sustainable architecture. Human Friendly is a house built according to function and character, Environmentally Friendly is environmentally the friendly house and renewable energy is a house that can produce its own energy or a house that is not wasteful of energy in its use.
