【 摘 要 】
Damage detection and estimation in structures using incomplete modal data is presented. In the proposed approach, damage location and severity is determined by solving an optimization problem using the constrained nonlinear multivariable function of Matlab (so- called fmincon) to perform constrained minimization. The feasibility of the presented method is validated with a three-story plane frame as numerical example containing one or several damages with different value of damage severity. The obtained results indicated that proposed method is effective and robust in detection and estimation of damage.【 预 览 】
