【 摘 要 】

This paper describes an electrochemical method for producing rough silver and gold taper tips for polarization-controlled TERS performance. This method allows to explore the directional intrinsic properties of the sample due to different dipole moment orientations at the tip apex. We give recommendations for fabricating rough silver and gold tips.
