【 摘 要 】
Collision strengths have been calculated for the fine-structure transitions among the levels of the (1s2)2s22p2, 2s2p3, 2p4, 2s22p3s, 2s22p3p, 2s22p3d configurations of Ni XXIII, over an electron energy range of E below 500 Ryd. Effective collision strengths are obtained by averaging collision strengths over a Maxwellian velocity distribution. The collision strengths obtained have been compared with the data from relativistic distorted-wave method. The accuracy of our calculations is assessed.
