【 摘 要 】
Dithiocarbamate grafted silica gel (DTC-SiO2) was prepared following two simple reaction steps. The properties of the composite were characterized by FTIR, SEM and element analysis. Its ability to remove Co2+ions in aqueous solution with low concentration was also studied by static adsorption experiments. The effects of pH value in solution, contact time and temperature were investigated. The results show that the DTC-SiO2exhibits excellent adsorption property for Co2+. The adsorption kinetics could be well described by pseudo-second-order model and the adsorption isotherms could be depicted by both Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich models. The adsorption process belongs to chemisorption. The slightly influence of common interfering metal ions (Na+, K+, Ca2+and Mg2+) on the adsorption capacity revealing the synthesized DTC-SiO2performs excellent selective adsorption to Co2+.
