【 摘 要 】

A feature of the current stage of development of national economy is the overcoming of national borders and the formation of the world economic system, which is accompanied not only by positive effects but also identified the problem of food security. The author believes that food security should be considered as a global problem requiring management approaches adapted to the existing challenges. The effectiveness of control measures is achieved primarily by scientific understanding and understanding of the processes taking place with the development of basic management models, as an alternative of which the author proposes to consider the model of investment and innovation balanced interaction. This article is devoted to the substantiation of the essence, interrelations of the category "food security", approaches to the strategic management of food supply in connection with the quality of life of the population.
