    The work is devoted to methods of nondestructive diagnostics and their use for solving the problem of diagnosing various defects in solid surface of graphite electrodes used in steelmaking furnaces. Various non-destructive control methods of materials are analyzed. In the article, methods of eddy-current defectoscopy of graphite electrodes are considered. Rationalization of the sensitivity increase of the method and localization of damage is described. Imitating modeling of electromagnetic processes was executed; results were made and conclusions were drawn.

      It was proposed to use electrokinetic phenomena for the cultivation of agricultural products, taking into account the multifactority of technology and the presence of relaxation phenomena. It is forecasted to use new approaches to reduce energy costs for the process of moistening the root-layer of soil and saving natural resources. The proposed technology will make it possible to get rid of a number of irrationally used natural resources. This is especially true for the Crimean region and the Volga region. Using this technology in Uzbekistan will allow the elimination of the Aral catastrophe and restoration of the natural balance in this region.

        The paper overviews directions for electrotechnology treatment of grain seeds before sowing. The hypothesis of the germination enhancement of seeds if treated with corona discharge is presented here. Besides, the description of electrotechnology installation and facilities for it including manufacturing process quality obtained as a result of scientific tests are also provided in the paper.
