Human plasmablasts/plasmacells express complete IL-27 and IL-23 receptors; and IL-27 but not IL-23 exerts chemotactic properties on these cells and modulates different chemokines/chemokine receptors, yet both cytokines induce secretion of immunoglobulin (Ig)M and IgG.
