【 摘 要 】

The beginnings ofCzechoslovakia and North Korean relations reach til the end of 1940s. The countries;; cooperation was focused on Czechoslovakia’s non-military help to North Korea reflected in various fields, e.g. construction, education, and medical treatment however after the Korean War, non-military aid was accompanied by the military support as well. Czechoslovakia became one of four members of Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC) which triggered the military relation with North Korea. Unlike Sweden and Switzerland, Czechoslovakia entered the commission nor with a peace but with the battle plan against American imperialism. The beginnings of the Czechoslovakia’s activity in NNSC confirm this fact by strong support of North Korea’s ;;strong policy line;;. Czechoslovakia’s support of North Korean regime was one of the reasons of failure of NNSC’s mainaim to maintain the neutrality. Czechoslovakia and North Korea can be described as first countries in accusing the other side (Switzerland, Sweden and US) of the armistice violation. However the constant accusing maintained among the other sides as well. Due to NNSC member countries;; promotion of their own policy, commission’s work and maintaining the armistice or so-called ;;negative peace;; turned into a very difficult mission. Till the end its;; activity in NNSC, Czechoslovakia offered non-military and military aid to North Korea and was presented as a supporter of North’s strong policy line however this seemingly friendly relation was disturbed by misunderstandings and different point of views. North Korea applied it’s strong policy and ;;Beijing Line;; policy to Czechoslovakia, on the other hand Czechoslovakia due to its;; strengthening of authority emphasized the dominance of Soviet Union and its;; politics. Previous researches focused on Czechoslovakia and North Korean relations during the Korean War but the problematics of both countries;; relation relating to NNSC is still omitted. This thesis overcomes the limitation of previous research, analyzes the Czechoslovak-North Korean relation related to the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission and presents a new viewpoint connected with this problematics.
