that is, how is that focused n-words can add supplemental negation whereas non-focused n-words cannot? The take away is therefore a complete compositional analysis of Negative Concord constructions, which bears with it a favorable simplification in the lexicon by uniting n-words and indefinite NPIs, while managing to extend empirical coverage.
