This is the story of a storyteller. Peter Leix describes in detail the production of his feature lengthdocumentary ;;Flint”. Included in this written thesis is the author’s personal background, including beingraised in the cult religion of Jehovah;;s Witness and how this led to his strong connection with the city ofFlint, Michigan. Peter writes openly about the choices he makes both technically and creatively allowingthe reader full access to his decision making process throughout. The film deals with issues ofabandonment and loyalty. Viewers meet several people who endeavor daily to strengthen theindividuals and the community in the crumbling city.
