Walking Mind asks if it is possible for the body and mind to be in the same place at thesame time. The exhibition looks at the overlap and intersections between body, mind andenvironment through photographic, video and audio re-presentation of walking meditation.Sarah Berkeley maintained an extensive walking meditation practice in order tobecome aware of the body/mind/environment connection and disconnection. She thendocumented her physical and mental experience using photography, video and audiotexts, which she presents poetically in Walking Mind.
