【 摘 要 】

The purpose of this descriptive metasynthesis was to discover, describe, and systematically synthesize the culture care expressions, beliefs, and practices of diverse and similar cultures. The goal of this study was to synthesize generic (also referred to as folk) and professional culture care actions and decisions that promote health, well-being, and beneficial lifeways for people of similar and diverse cultures. This study served as an exploration of both generic and professional care documented within the doctoral dissertations examined, with the objective being an improved understanding and appreciation of how both types of care influence the culture care within and between cultural groups.
