The major ion and metal (Al, Cd, and Pb) chemistry of 14 softwater lakes in the Highland Lake District of northern Wisconsin were studied.The 1 akes were sampled during early and 1 ate summer, after the autumnal overturn, and during winter from June 1982 to June 1984.
