【 摘 要 】
This creative thesis is a collection of thirty-one poems written primarily in the first-person, lyric mode. This collection displays a focus on craft, specifically precision of image and language, while both exploring the author;;s internal process of coming out and examining the author;;s relationships to ideas of queerness, to their family, and to society at large. Through this dual focus on craft and theme, these poems form a cohesive manuscript, which is conscious of its place in the literary and larger worlds.
