This thesis presents the details and results of aninvestigation into the effects of early age curing onthe durability of concrete The two main objectives ofthe investigation were:to develop simple test methods, applied atrelativelyearly ages, for measuring the effectsof early-age moist curing on the advance ofhydration in the cover zone of concrete;to quantify the effect of early age curing on thedurability performance of concretes of variousstrength grades and made with different bindertypes.[Abbreviated Abstract.
