【 摘 要 】
This report has been prepared in response to the request by the Economic and Social Council, in its resolution 2006/46, for the United Nations Secretary-General to inform the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) concerning the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
It highlights major activities undertaken by stakeholders in 2017 to implement WSIS outcomes.
It has been prepared by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) secretariat based on information provided by entities in the United Nations system and other international organizations and stakeholders.
