【 摘 要 】

The objective of this report is todocument a new approach to tackle systemic industrialpollution in the textile industry. The Global responsibleSourcing Initiative (RSI) was created in 2010 in response tothis challenge. The initiative brings together the WorldBank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), theNatural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and eight leadingmultinational brands. This platform allows non-traditionalpartners to explore a joint approach to addressenvironmental concerns within the global apparel supplychain by collectively changing the business as usualmodeof operation.
