The objective of this study is tocomprehend decision making processes and attitudes relatedto discussion on television and other mass media of condomsand other sensitive issues, by performing comprehensiveresearch including (i) a review of available literature;(ii) focus group meetings with decision-makers involved inbehavior change communications in Pakistan (staff of theMinistry of Health, National and Provincial AIDS ControlProgrammes, Ministry of Population Welfare; officialsworking in television and radio, and censor board members);and (iii) focus group meetings with a sample of the generalpopulation in urban and rural areas of Pakistan.This paperincludes the following headings:executive summary,background of the study literature review findings, focusgroup research findings, and recommendations.
