【 摘 要 】

The main objective of the report is toprovide diagnosis on youth employment, which can provide thebasis for future policy design. The report is structured asfollows: the chapter one provides a general background ofmacroeconomic and employment outcomes in Kosovo. The chapterthen explains the framework, scope, and limitations of thisstudy (Why youth? Why youth in jeopardy?). Chapter twodevelops a youth employment profile using data from the2003-2006 labor force surveys and the 2006 household budgetsurvey; analysis includes a profile of youth in jeopardy inKosovo, employment trends, and assessment of youthemployment quality and constraints. Chapter three providesan overview of the current youth programs and policies beingimplemented in the territory in the context of the KosovoYouth National Action Plan (KYNAP).
