This publication explores the key issuesand options in agricultural trade liberalization from adeveloping country perspective. Chapters cover marketaccess, domestic support, export competition, quotaadministration methods, food security, biotechnology,intellectual property rights, agricultural trade under theUruguay Round Agreement on Agriculture (URAA), and manyother subjects, always focusing on the question of how theoutcome of the World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiationscan be made pro-development.
